Murray

Golf, visit the theater, play ball or swim - they've got it all in Murray, Utah! If you're looking for a home in Murray, you're looking in the right place. In the south end of the Salt Lake Valley, Murray got its start in 1848 when Mormon pioneers scattered to build their homes and communities throughout Utah. Agriculture was the main industry in the early beginning, but the railroad changed its course and it was Murray where industrious pioneers decided to smelter ore from rich veins discovered in what we now know as Park City. The first smelter was built in 1870.

With a population of more than 34,024 as estimated in the U.S. Census 2000, Murray has seen its share of growth. The town's is named after Eli Murray, a territorial governor of Utah from 1880 to 1886 and it's hard to imagine he envisioned the beautiful center today.

Murray offers access to every form of outdoor recreation in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains and on the valley floor! This is a great family community and it's very likely you'll find your dream house here.
